Saturday night we went to the neighbour's house for a "Survivor" party. There were 3groups of 4 people and we had competitions such as: Twister, Perfection, Operation etc. It was alot of fun.
Sunday we took it easy and in the afternoon Bob and Andrew went for a swim at Bob's gym. Andrew's last skating lesson is tomorrow but we've already signed him up to start again in January. We've also already signed him up for summer soccer.

Weekend!

Weekend was good. Saturday morning we went and watched the local Santa Claus parade....boring! The kids enjoyed it though so that's what matters.
Saturday night we went to our friend Donna and Marty's house for dinner. The boys had a great time playing with Caleb's toys, running around and wrestling.
Sunday we did some shopping, put up the Christmas lights and had a nice roast beef dinner!

Happy 1st Birthday Jacob!

Today we celebrated Jacob's first birthday! He is so cute...taking a few steps on his own now! Such a big boy. Andrew and Nathan were so glad to see him opening boy presents and not the usual dolls, makeup or princess items. The kids played well together and even ate well together! It's nice when they can all sit at their own table and have a nice civilized meal. We've waited a long time for that.

Today we went to Donna and Glen's wedding. It was alot of fun. It was like a highschool reunion...great time had by all!

Tonight Andrew and Nathan did some puzzles together. This kept them busy for at least an hour, and there was no fighting! Wow, I might be on to something...

Today I took Andrew to a birthday party. It was at the movie theatre...we saw the "Bee Movie". I thought it was pretty good. Lots of jokes that little kids wouldn't understand. After 15 minutes into the movie Andrew says "I wish it was at the end already". He ended up dozing off until the little girl beside him said "Andrew is sleeping!" He woke up and said "I AM NOT SLEEPING!"

While we were at the movies, Bob and Nathan went out for lunch at the Firken. Nathan comes home and says "I was at the Fircus!"

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween night. Bob and I went out with the kids. Nathan didn't last too long...maybe half an hour then he wanted me to carry him all the time.
Andrew and Bob went to a haunted house around the corner. They waited in line for about 45 minutes! They have a cool maze set up in their backyard for people to walk through. They do this every year and donations go to Sick Kids. There's people hiding throughout the maze and they come out and scare you! I passed on it. Grammie went through it and she said her throat was sore from screaming! Andrew actually enjoyed it.
