Yesterday we took half a day off work and headed up to the trailer. Uncle Kirk, Aunt Jackie, Steven, Cheryl and her friend Meagan have been up there since Wednesday. It was great having the older kids there because they kept the boys occupied all the time! They took them out for walks, to the park, fishing, etc.

The add-a-room is great. Looks nice and there is so much more room now! And it rained twice today so we all hung out in the room and watched t.v.

We had alot of fun today at Marineland with the family! Andrew and Nathan loved going on the rides, a couple of times I had to force Nathan to get off! They also enjoyed the dolphin show. It was pretty warm out though...Nathan started to do the headbobbing thing while in the wagon around 3:30. They both had a good nap on the way home.

Nathan had a slight fever and a cough for a couple of days. He wasn't allowed to go to daycare yesterday because of the fever. I took him to the doctor...it's just a bad cold. His ears and chest were fine. I couldn't take time off work and Bob had some meetings that he couldn't miss so Grammie came down for the day/night. Nathan is back to normal today.

Soccer was cancelled yesterday because the field was too wet. Andrew wasn't too upset about that.

Yesterday I took the kids to a birthday party at Kids Zone. They had alot of fun until all the big kids started to take over the place! Too many kids running around in one place. Bob was golfing with friends.
Today we went to a Baby naming ceremony for our friends Andrew and Lisa (and their baby Ellie). Then we went to Selena's birthday party! Lots of fun, lots of noise and lots of fighting. Andrew and Mya really like getting on each others nerves!

Bad boys....

Not sure what's up with Andrew and Nathan lately. Andrew got sent to the office a couple of weeks ago at daycare. Apparently he was hitting a girl in his class and he's been having some problems with listening. Then today one of the teachers tells me that Nathan isn't listening, is really loud when he doesn't have to be, keeps bothering the other kids in the class, gets time outs and thinks it's funny! Hopefully this is a short phase that they're going through.

Tonight Andrew went to soccer. He kept saying that he didn't want to go but then he found out that Uncle Kirk and Steven were coming to watch him play! That got him motivated. He played well...I think he played a bit better than last week. The other team had a ringer...this one kid got all the goals (about 10 of them)!

Sunny day!

Great weather today compared to yesterday afternoon! I was just picking up the kids from daycare yesterday when the winds picked up and it started to rain. Poor Andrew almost got blown over in the parking lot!

Today we filled up the pool and turned on the sprinkler. The kids went in and out of the water all day long.....Bob was out golfing again!

Baby Lucas!

We went to see Baby Lucas on Thursday night. He is really cute and seems like a very calm, content baby! Andrew and Nathan were much more interested in Mochi than Lucas. Eventually they noticed that there was a baby in the room.

Andrew's soccer was cancelled yesterday because the field was too wet from the rain. I was glad it was cancelled...it was way too cold! Plus Andrew has been saying that he doesn't want to go to soccer anymore. He just wants to play at home.

Mom and dad came over tonight so Bob and I went out for dinner. It was a nice, peaceful dinner where we could actually have a conversation without interruptions! What a treat!

After dinner we went to Andrew's public school for an orientation. He will be in a mixed class with Junior and Senior Kindergarten kids (he'll go every morning). I think he'll be fine in that class since he has been going to daycare, knows how to follow a routine and has learned abc's and 123's already. Tonight was just for parents. I will take him to the school next Friday for an hour so he can check out his classroom and meet his teacher. Can't believe he'll be starting school in September!

Sunday we celebrated mom and dad's 40th wedding anniversary! Wow! We went to the Mandarin for dinner, then back to our place for a bit. Why not make all 3 of our blogs the same. I stole the family picture from Gary's blog....

Nathan had a great idea this morning....stick your face in your bowl of Cheerios!

Yesterday I got a call from daycare saying that Andrew had a fever. I picked him up around 1:00 and gave him some Advil. By the evening, the fever was gone and he was back to normal playing outside with the neighbours! Today he was fine.
Busy day today...went to the flea market in the morning, then went for a swim at the neighbours house, then we had some friends over for a bbq. Sue and Drew brought over the new baby...she's 4 weeks old.
