Awards
Weekend was good. Nathan had games in Port Perry and Napanee. He scored a goal in each game and they won both games! Nathan's goal in Napanee was the game winner (the final score was 1-0) and it was shorthanded. Great work Nathan!
Andrew's team is playing against Whitby in the semi-final round. Last night they lost 4-0. Whitby is the number one team and I can see why.
Saturday night 9 of us went to see Blue Rodeo. It was a fun night and a great show.
The boys both received awards at school yesterday for "Optimism"!

Andrew's Birthday
Happy 10th Birthday Andrew! Wow, can't believe he's 10 years old!
For his birthday, he wanted to go to the Lego store so he could spend his money! So that's what we did. He bought "The Grand Emporium" and some other Lego sets. The Grand Emporium is part of a set of 7 buildings. He wants to start collecting all of them now...he will need to get a job if he wants to keep buying these sets! He started putting the set together as soon as we got home and continued working on it today. He completed it in about 5.5 hours.
Andrew's team beat Belleville on Tuesday night to win the series. Now they will play against the first place team, Whitby, starting on Monday night.

Hockey Hair
The boys got their playoff hockey hair!
Nathan's team hasn't started playoffs yet but Andrew's team has. We are up 2 games to 1 against Belleville. He plays tomorrow night...hopefully we can win the series tomorrow so we don't have to drive to Belleville on Saturday!

School!
Yeah, it's back to school for the kids! Well, except for Nathan who had a fever all day. Hopefully he will be feeling better tomorrow.
We have our backyard rink up and running! So far the boys have been on the rink more times than all of last winter. Last winter the weather didn't co-operate...this year has been much better so far. It's supposed to be quite mild this weekend though.
They use the rink mostly to practice their shooting. They are both improving alot.
Andrew's team has finished their regular season. We are now waiting for the playoff schedule. Nathan's team still has a few regular season games left. They are doing really well...5 wins and a tie in their last 6 games! Way to go Coach Bob!
