Weekend

Didn't do too much this weekend.

Friday night went over to the neighbours and tried out their Wii Fit. Very cool...might have to buy one. Andrew had hockey Saturday and Sunday morning...he was the goalie this week. He enjoyed it for the first 2 periods but during the 3rd period he wanted to come off the ice, said he had a stomach ache and his mouth hurt...but he made it through the game. They tied 4-4.

Sunday I took the boys over to Grandma and Papa's. Aunt Jackie was there with the kids. We all went for a swim and then had dinner.

Watched part of the Academy Awards...I guess "Slumdog Millionaire" is a movie I must see!!

Andrew had me up early this morning...he was so excited about putting together his new Bionicle that Uncle Mike and Aunt Sheryl gave him for his birthday! We had it done by 9:00 this morning. While we were busy putting it together, Nathan was having fun playing Kirby (which Uncle Gary and Aunt Jackie gave to Andrew). Thank you for the cool gifts!!

Julia's Birthday!

Today we celebrated Julia's 5th Birthday! The kids had a great time at the playcentre...then we went to Uncle Mike and Aunt Sheryl's for a delicious dinner.
Emily is getting so big! And she's a very good baby, hardly fussed the whole day.
Russell was very entertaining to watch...he made the adults and kids laugh alot. Andrew and Nathan were exhausted. They fell asleep on the drive home and went straight to bed!

Andrew had early hockey this weekend...7:00 practice on Saturday, 6:00 game on Sunday! Tried to get him to take a nap today but he said he wasn't tired. He's outside right now building a snow fort with the neighbours. I'm sure he'll be going to bed early tonight.
Last night Bob and I went out with friends to an Indian restaurant (part of Winterlicious). It was very good! Then after dinner we went over to our friends house to play some Guitar Hero.

Last week it was Nathan's turn to have Clifford the big red dog sleep over! Everyday the kids in class take turns bringing Clifford home... and then they have to write about what they did in a journal. Nathan was so excited! Clifford went to Grandma and Papa's, he slept in Nathan's bed and he had breakfast with us.

On Saturday we went to Beaverton to watch cousin Mike's hockey game. Those 16 and 17 year olds are huge...and fast. Nathan was so interested in watching the hockey game, can't you tell? Afterwards we went to Aunt Joan and Uncle Mike's house for dinner.
