Lego

This is what we got Andrew for his birthday! He said he loved it...although I'm the one who put the entire thing together! Some parts were difficult and it took about 3hours to complete. I actually enjoy doing it.

Andrew's Birthday!

Andrew turned 6 on Friday! He wanted to go to Lonestar for dinner so that's what we did. Saturday we had his birthday party at the house...he invited some friends from school and hockey. We played lots of games to keep them busy!! It got really loud at times but I guess that's to be expected when 12 boys get together.

Sunday Andrew scored his first goal! He gets to keep the puck...very exciting!

Andrew is still loving hockey! I'm surprised actually because in the beginning he cried and complained at every practice! This past Sunday, it was his turn to be the goalie. He was very excited...and he did well. His team ended up winning 10-5. Bob said Andrew had about 10 shots on him and he stopped half of them. Not bad. He was Player of the Game! Go Andrew Go!

Nathan has no interest in playing hockey, watching hockey or skating. His only interest right now is WII Mario Galaxy.

Sedona

My 5 girlfriends (my bridesmaids actually...11 and a half years ago!) just spent 5 days in Sedona Arizona. We had planned this trip to celebrate all of our 40th birthdays! It was great. Scenery was beautiful, weather was perfect. We went on a long hike (didn't know the trail so what we thought was a 30 minute hike, ended up being 3 hours...4 miles), spent the afternoon at a spa, drove to the Grand Canyon and ate alot of good food. I think the highlight of the trip was the Grand Canyon...the pictures don't do it justice...you have to see it in person to see how amazing it really is. It was a great trip!
Bob said the kids were great while I was away! Thanks to Grammie and Grandpa for helping out while I was gone.

Big day!

The tooth that has been loose for over a week has finally fallen out! Andrew was so excited today. His first tooth fell out while he was at school this morning. He got a cute little tooth keychain to put it in! It's under his pillow right now...keychain and all.

Happy New Year!

For New Years Eve we went over to our neighbours house. The kids stayed at our house for most of the evening, then came over to join the adults around 11:00. We played games for a couple of hours which was alot of fun! Everyone had a great time.
On New Years Day, we went over to another neighbours house for a big brunch, then watched the new Russell Peters DVD (hilarious...the kids were all downstairs!). Then went over to Mama's for our annual New Years day get together!
