Birthday party

Bob was golfing on Saturday. I took the boys to a birthday party in the afternoon...it was a Pirate theme party. They had alot of fun! Glad the weather co-operated. My friend was so worried that she'd have to have 14 kids inside her house!

Montreal Weekend

This weekend Bob and I went to Montreal. We went by train and left on Friday morning. It was a great weekend! The train was nice and relaxing. We stayed at the Hilton which was right in downtown Montreal, right across from the Via station. It rained on and off Friday afternoon but Saturday was perfect weather. Did alot of walking and ate alot of really good food! The steamed hotdogs (in the slideshow) was something I was told I had to try while in Montreal. They were delicious...and only cost $0.96 each. Thank you to Grandma and Papa who stayed over for two nights...Andrew and Nathan said they had alot of fun.

Sorry...I'm getting behind in my posts!

Here are a few pictures from Lucas' first birthday! Lots of fun, and lots of food. It was nice to see everyone.

Pictures of Bob's latest garage sale purchase. This thing can go pretty fast...the boys love it. So do the rest of the neighbourhood kids.

Selena's First Communion

Today was Selena's First Communion. She looks like such a young lady now. The boys got restless in the church but they managed to make it through without any major interruptions! Afterwards we went to Gary and Jackie's for lots of great food and desserts. As usual, the kids loved playing in the basement!

Today we decided to set up a spare bed in the playroom again. While Bob was setting it up, Andrew made a suggestion...to put his bed and Nathan's bed in the same room. So this is what we have done. We'll see how it goes. I thought they would take a long time falling asleep tonight in the same room but Andrew was out in about 1 minute and Nathan layed there for a long time with no one to talk to!

This afternoon we went to our friend Ellie's first Birthday. They had a guy with a guitar come in and sing a bunch of songs for the kids. They all seemed to enjoy that. Especially when he brought out a hockey bag full of instruments!
